Hello and welcome!
I am Krisjanis Liepins and writing this blog since 2012. I have been blogging on different sites since at least before 2010.
Here, on this blog, I’m curating a space to discuss things important to me and, hopefully, to you as well.
Over time, I have published here a diverse content spanning multiple themes. Thus, also the structure had grown ever more complicated. Besides, in 2019, I began writing fiction as I started working on my first novel.
Consequently, in 2024, I undertook a significant restructuring. The new structure of this blog is apparent in the upper navigation menu. All content is divided into two large groups by language – Latvian, the primary language I’m writing in, and English. Within each of these groups, a section titled “Books” (or “Grāmatas” in Latvian) is emphasised. There you may find all the important information about my books, as well as options to buy them and, after reading, leave a review. There is also an option to subscribe for a dedicated newsletter.
Find the remaining content under “News” or “Ziņas” (Latvian). There, you may filter everything using tags. Articles about my books can be found there as well, under a suitable tag.
I mainly post content in Latvian. If you are interested, you may copy the link to any Latvian content page or article, paste it into Google Translate, and it will provide decently comprehensible translation.
I invite you to share your opinion and engage in discussion in comments, observing limits of decorum. I’m moderating comments to ensure that this site encourages constructive discussions that everyone feels welcomed to read and engage with. Thus, I ask you to follow a few simple rules:
- Respect yourself and others. Avoid rudeness and humiliation, trolling and spamming. Mind your manners and grammar.
- Don’t lie, check information and sources you are going to share.
- Do not foment hate and lawbreaking.
Thank you for dedicating your time to my blog!
